Falcon Northwest Ad
[Posted Wednesday, August 18, 2004 @ 7:47pm by Glen]
I have a new peice of artwork up: an advertisment for
Falcon Northwest (a computer
maker). You can check it out from the Samples page, or you can
see it here.
Also, I fixed the Samples page to support "popup blocker friendly"
operation. Because the samples pages used popup windows for viewing
the new images, a lot of pop-blocker software doesn't let it
through. One solution is to enable www.arei.net as an
acceptable popup web host. Another option is to use the new
"popup friendly" links. This brings up the images in the current
browser window. Not as pretty, but functional.
Frisbee Designs
[Posted Tuesday, April 20, 2004 @ 6:36pm by Glen]
Designs for the frisbees got overlooked this year for consideration due to some sort of emali snafu. Maybe next year, eh?
Frisbee Artwork
[Posted Saturday, February 6, 2004 @
10:25pm by Glen]
It was suggested that I submit some new designs for the
WAFC Frisbee's that are
produced every year. You can look at the four designs
that I put together and submitted. I am currently awaiting
to see if they liked them or had change suggestions or
just hated them. Feel free to
email me and let me know
which one you liked.
Please note that the image has very rigid design constraints:
No more than three colors (total), no smoothing, no bluring,
no gradiants, no shading, must fit on a disk. Additionally
I wanted something that would look interesting when thrown
and thus I tried to stay away from symetry.

Ribhus Site
[Posted Monday, September 15 @ 10:41am by Glen]
In the not so distant future I'm told that the Ribhus Site will be getting major content
updates. While there is nothing new done by me, it should make the site worth visiting and
increase traffic greatly.
New Site Live
[Posted Monday, September 8 @ 2:23am by Glen]
arei.net went live today with it's new version 2.5 design. The sit has also been rewritten
to use Java ServerPages on the back end entirely. (Previously the site was dynamically served by an
external CGI application.)
This is all part of the big migration to our new hosting service, which support JSP. The old
service did not support JSP, plus there were growing bandwidth issues. These are all resolve with our
new hosting agreement and new host.
The new site, some of you may notice is slightly less robuts than the old one. This is because
I have also moved all my personal content elsewhere. If you'd like to keep up with my personal site, you
should visit my LiveJournal. The new redeisgned site is focused entirely
upon my professional design and development efforts.
The new site is 100% Java based, using Java ServerPages and HTML exclusively. It took me a while to redo the
site, but eventually it got there. There is still a handful of behind the scenes issues I'd like to tackle, but
the important pieces are up and running.
Enjoy!
570Bars.com Live!
[Posted December 30, 2002 @ 7:27pm by Glen]
The web design work I did for the 570bars.com website is now live. I did all the design and
layout and artwork for the front part of the site. The forums and the weblog are third
party canned software, so I had nothing to do with the.
You should checkout the new site at 570bars.com.
